INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE
1. Make sure that the Admit Card is attached with the Application Form. It will be returned to you after the allotment of the Roll Number. Bring your Admit Card to the Examination Centre positively on the examination date.
2. Reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination and occupy the seat that bears your Roll Number.
3. DO NOT take calculator, mobile phone, mathematical & physical table or any other kind of ready reckoner/electronic gadget to the Examination Hall.
4. The Examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day.
5. You have to take the Examination in TWO PARTS:
I) Part -I Comprises of Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of 100 questions.
II) Part -II Comprises of Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)consisting of 100 questions.
6. Time for both part -I & part -II is 120 minutes (2 hrs.) each.
7. Each question carries 1 (one) mark and there will be no negative marking.
8. Write your Roll Number & Centre Code Number as given in the Admit Card on the Answer Sheet and on the cover page of the question Booklet in the space provided.
9. DO NOT Write your name in any part of the Queson Booklet or the Answer Sheet.
10. All questions in the booklets are of objective type. For each question there are Four Options of which only one is correct. Your task is to find out correct option and mark your choice in the OMR Sheet.
11. For OMR Sheet use blue/black ball point pen.
12. During the Examination, follow the instructions of the invigilator strictly
13. Hand over your answer sheet & admit card to the invigilator before you leave the Examination hall.
14. DO NOT mark more than 1 answer for any question. No Credit will be given in case of
overwriting/cutting or darkening of more than one bubble as answer. Use of whitener/ Eraser is not
allowed for correcting answers.
15. All rights are reserved with SCERT, SOLAN in connection with the conduct of state Level Exam.
16. No re-evaluation is allowed because ” Answer Sheets are evaluated thoroughly”.

There is no prescribed syllabus for this examination. Paper will be based on the curriculum of class IX and X.
